| NEIE has partnered with Meeks Disposal of Portmouth, VA under a “Veteran Partnership Program” to manage solid waste and demolition solid waste and demolition debris. Meeks Disposal is one of the largest municipal trash and debris management companies in the Hampton Roads, VA area. NEIE and Meeks have shared resources and expertise in managing debris and MSW (municipal solid waste) on the largest clean-up in US history (Hurricane Katrina). When the largest MSW Company in the US could not respond in the early stages of MSW clean-ups of New Orleans, NEIE utilized its resources to supply residents of New Orleans MSW services. The Meeks/NEIE mentor protégé relationship will benefit any agency with a small business face with large business capabilities. |
